Emmanuel “James” Beam is a rising country singer-songwriter raised on a small hobby farm in Naches Heights, Washington. Born in Liberia, West Africa, his sound is shaped by influences ranging from Merle Haggard to Zach Top, with deep roots in the music of Cody Johnson, Darius Rucker, and Randy Travis.

With his third Chinook Fest appearance, along with performances at Moxee Hop Festival (2022–2025) and Hop Country Music Festival—where he had the honor of opening for Nashville recording artist Chris Janson—James has become a sought-after artist across the Pacific Northwest. Fully devoted to writing music and honing his craft, he continues to build momentum while setting his sights on the stages of Nashville and beyond
