Johnny Bourbon

Johnny Bourbon is a singer-songwriter from Bend, OR. 

 

He grew up in various locations throughout the Pacific Northwest and honed his skills writing and performing in various bands since his early teenage years. 

 

He challenges himself to provoke honesty in his songwriting; examining the human condition and the subjects of love & loss, life and death, optimism and strife, and shares his personal history and the inner dialogues that follow with his audience, challenging them to ask themselves similar questions and confront their own humanness amidst the backdrop of driving alternative-country and folk guitar rhythms. 

 

Johnny's performance can somewhat be described as an act of emotional purging, and tends to fill a room with a sense of heavy catharsis while still evoking a sense of levity, and sometimes laughter as he shares the stories most dear to him.
