Snug Harbor

Snug Harbor.png

Snug Harbor is raw, high-energy soul music at its finest and each  show contains elements of tight knight grooves, crowd involvement and improvisation over heavy funk and soul grooves

The seven-piece funk-soul revival group Snug Harbor is located in Bellingham, Washington, in the remote Pacific Northwest. Sinclair Hucke, the singer and frontwoman, leads the group's dynamic and expressive vocals. They are supported by some of the Northwest's most renowned musicians, including the Willdabeast horn section and other past or current contributing members to some groups such as: the Michal Menert Big Band, YAMN,  Yogoman Burning Band, Mr. Feel Good and others. Even after ten years of service, Snug Harbor remains a powerful force in modern music, specializing in original compositions as well as tributes to classic soul, funk, and jam recordings. According to Craig Jewell, owner of the Wild Buffalo, who recently assisted in bringing this group out of semi-hibernation, "they just don't seem to lose a step." One thing is for certain when Snug hits the stage, it's about time for some of that real, old fashioned but somehow hip sounding and always righteous 'feel good music', so get ready to move!
